Hampton Inn and Suites

The first of 3 new Jekyll Island Georgia hotels has already been completed. The Hampton Inn and Suites was built on the site of the old Holiday Inn, by the owners of the Jekyll Island Club Hotel. It's a beautiful lodging destination, and a perfect place for a family stay.

The New Full-Service, Oceanfront Hotel

With the new Jekyll Island Convention Center slated to open its doors in 2012, the need for quality lodging close by the center is critical.

Jekyll Landmarks, owners of the Jekyll Island Club Hotel (who brought you the Hampton Inn and Suites) will also build a new full-service hotel, which will front the ocean adjacent to the new Convention Center.

The new hotel will have approximately 200 rooms, and will be sited on the planned village green and next door to the planned convention center. It will feature a spacious lobby, with a full-service restaurant. The Jekyll Island Club estimates the hotel will cost around $34 million.

The New Select-Service Hotel

Phelps Development of Greeley, CO, in conjunction with The Chhatrala Group, will build the planned select-service hotel, slated to be constructed about a block from the new convention center, in the heart of the beach village. It will have 120 - 140 rooms.

This hotel’s design will complement the village concept, and will also feature pedestrian walkways and charming sidewalks.

All for a mere $17 million!
