Days Inn and Suites - a Jekyll Island Hotel for Budget Minded Families

Great Cheap Jekyll Island Hotel for Families or Business Folk

First things first - we've never stayed at the Days Inn and Suites, so can't give you the definitive lowdown. I did do a walk through, however, and this is my impression.

It's one of the older hotels in Jekyll Island, but it looked clean and neat. From reading some of the guest reviews on the travel and hotel sites, maybe a bit better than the typical Days Inn.

Accommodations -

This extended stay hotel has 124 ocean side and island side rooms, and ocean side suites. The suites include a living room with a queen size sofa bed, double beds in the bedroom, and a kitchenette. Upstairs suites have large balconies. They also have King Oceanside Suites and King Oceanside Guestrooms.

All rooms have a microwave and a small refrigerator.

Amenities -

Prepare for your day on Jekyll Island and take breakfast at their free Deluxe Breakfast Bar.

If you like to swim, you have your choice of two pools. One is heated. There's also a kiddie pool and a hot tub. And you can rent bikes at the hotel, also.

If you swim, be prepared and bring plenty of sunscreen - they're aren't many shade trees poolside.

From the swimming pool area, you have direct access via boardwalk to the wide beaches of Jekyll Island.

The Days Inn and Suites is centrally located on the Atlantic side of island. It's conveniently located next door to the Convention Center.

Catering to the Business Crowd -

Business folk receive a wide range of services, including WiFi, a conference room, audio and visual equipment, copy and fax service, and a TV and VCR.

Packages -

The hotel offers a range of special packages, from Golf to Romance to Gambling on the Emerald Princess Casino Cruise Ship.
