The pizza is absolutely fantastic, served hot and tasty by Redbug's friendly staff. The owners of Redbug Motors Pizza & Pub also own Redbug Motors, which rents electric powered vehicles to Jekyll Island guests. The tie-in is obvious. Want a quick hot delicious meal to feed those ravenous demons (a.k.a. as Your Hungry Kids)? Redbug Motors Pizza & Pub is located at the Jekyll Island Mini-Golf complex, in the same building that the Great Dunes golf clubhouse used to be in. At Redbug Motors Pizza & Pub, the food is as good as the ambiance. Their pies come in two sizes - small and large. The small is only $10.00 - and it comes with however many toppings you want. The large will get you 3 or more toppings for $18.00. Kid friendly restaurants should spoon out plenty of grub, and this one is no exception. Order a whole pie and top it with pepperoni, Italian sausage, green peppers, onions, mushrooms, black olives, banana peppers, ham, bacon, ground beef, jalapeno and/or pineapple. You can fill up a passel of kids that way! Makes my mouth water to think about it. Martha and I ate at Redbug Pizza & Pub (or ordered for delivery) pizza several times during our last visit to the island, and we weren't disappointed. We ordered the small pizza every time, with just about everything on it. Our pizza was served hot, delicious and filling - and fast. When you're tired, sweaty and staving, and don't want to clean up and go out for seafood, fast is a life saver. Eat In, Pick Up Your Pizza, or Have It Delivered - Redbug Pizza & Pub also delivers with orders of at least $20.00. Not a meat lover? Ask for Julies Vegetarian Pizza. Or order a plenty big salad for $5.00. Martha and I did this one night and split it between us. It was more than enough for two. And pizzas aren't the only things they serve. Come in for a delicious hoagie or wrap; dig into their scrumptious lasagna or spaghetti; or, for kids under 12, check out their very reasonably priced kids menu items. Don't forget dessert - try their signature "Cinnabugs", or a dessert pizza. Parents rejoice! Theirs a "Pub" part of Redbug Motors Pizza and Pub. Adults can enjoy a fully-stocked bar fully stocked with your favorite beer and wine selections.
